Faith in Hixon’s abilities

“Bill Hixon, the name we trust” is more than a campaign slogan. It is a statement of confidence in a gentleman with a proven record of public and community service. He is a known commodity, so to speak. We have seen him in action over decades in this city, this county, this state. He has no hidden agendas, nor is he a one-issue politician.

Bill Hixon has expertise and experience in education, insurance, real estate, law enforcement and economic development, areas of significant impact on our daily lives. A few of many accomplishments: Education — Aiken County Commission on Higher Education for USCA, Aiken County Technical College board chairman, a product of North Augusta schools and an important player in the building of the NAHS Stadium; Insurance — Board member for Independent Insurance Agents, president of his agency; Real Estate — Owner and operator of his own business, Realtor of the Year repeatedly, S.C. Association of Realtors regional vice president, Legislative Grass Roots Realtor of the Year; Law Enforcement — State Constable, volunteer firefighter; Economic development — Vice chairman of the Aiken and Edgefield Economic Development Partnership.

Customer service and satisfaction is a hallmark of the business he and his mother have owned and operated for many years. Bill Hixon will focus on the customers — the citizens and voters — representing your viewpoints, not just his own opinions. He has sought my perspective on education matters. I appreciate his regard for “those in the trenches” — teachers and school employees. He believes in public education as the best option, therefore deserving support.

Bill Hixon is a man of faith and character. He demonstrates his interest in others, his compassion, his solid principles and his firm convictions daily. I know him as a Christian friend and fellow member of First Baptist of North Augusta.
Bill Hixon is a listener, a consensus builder and a man with connections. His years of service and public commitment are recognized statewide. He will go to Columbia prepared and ready to serve. Let’s put his experience and knowledge to work. Join us on June 8 in electing Bill Hixon, a man we trust.
