In support of Bill Hixon for S.C. House 83 Bill Hixon’s campaign sign reads, “The Name We Trust.” I know firsthand that this statement is correct, as far as my dealings with Bill. I have trusted Bill to handle my insurance needs for my home and autos over the past 34 years with great satisfaction.

The North Augusta/Belvedere Board of Realtors has elected Bill to lead our organization as president for five different terms, because he is someone that we trusted to handle our business for us and lead us in the right direction. Bill was so successful at leading this group that we did not want him to quit. And quit he didn’t. Through our Board of Realtors, Bill has also been involved with the legislative delegation in Columbia, which has provided him valuable experience to know how to serve the citizens of our area.

The Aiken/Edgefield County Economic Development Partnership has had Bill to serve on their panel, as vice-chairman, because they know Bill is a name they trust to promote our area and bring new jobs and businesses to both counties. Bill has accomplished this task, and most recently he was involved in bringing MTU Detroit Diesel Co. to our area. Bill’s involvement on this committee will have great beneficial impact on our entire area.

I have also trusted Bill to share the word of God with me and other members of our Sunday school class at First Baptist Church in North Augusta. Our class and church consider him to be a vital part of our fellowship.

I say all this to ask you to make Bill Hixon a name you can trust. Casting your ballot for Bill on June 8 will be the right thing to do.
